Last night we watched the documentary, The US vs. John Lennon, and I found it really interesting. His efforts for peace really touched me. Since most of it happened before I was born, there were a lot of things I didn't know about.
One thing that struck me was how much of the same crazy things are still happening with our government. It seems like at that time people were so active in speaking out against the insane things that were happening and now, here we are in 2008 fighting this war and seeing continual displays of dirty politics - again...still.
In any case, I found the documentary to be interesting, inspiring...and relevant to what we are experiencing these days. All we are saying is give peace a chance.
