The completion of this weekend was a victory for me. It was the first weekend of the Level 2 teacher training course that we are having here in Phoenix and it marked my 4th day on the Master Cleanse, which is without any food. That's right - I am now on my fifth day without food. (A cleansing lemonade drink is used that keeps the tummy pretty full.)
The start of this Level 2 course (a module of second level of Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training) has been quite consuming as it involves a lot of work to coordinate and plan. And I felt called to start this cleanse, which is supposed to be remarkable in its healing benefits. But I have to say, I was a little concerned about how I would hold up.
Fortunately, my energy was great and I was able to keep up, get my work done, and maintain my cleanse. The course was beautiful and has already begun to provide deep reflection and transformation for the people who are taking it.
Today I am feeling accomplished for what has happened so far and a little bit daunted by what is still ahead. We've got the next two weekends with this course. And I have at least 7-8 more days of the cleanse (if I do the recommended length.) It seems like a lot - but at least, we got last weekend complete and the journey is in full motion.
Wheee!
