It All Comes Back to Bellies

Sometimes I go to a Belly Dance class on Sundays. I love that it is an eclectic mix of people - all ages, body types, and experience levels. Satvinder usually goes with me but rarely participates. Today she jumped in for a solo.

Here is Satvinder taking a spin. Everybody took a turn dancing under the veil. First, Satvinder went with me but then she decided she wanted her own spotlight. She did great!


This is my friend, Selena, who I met at a birth. She shares my fondness for pregnancy and birth - she's a doula too. And a belly dancer - much more experienced than my minimal dabbling.
